What about Vala's?
There is an awesome pumpkin patch near Omaha named Vala's which I am not including because it is over 2 hours away. Many Sioux City area families love to visit it despite the distance, and you can find more info on Vala's from Omaha based bloggers The Walking Tourists and Family Fun in Omaha!

  1. Diane's Pumpkin Patch is north of Sioux city on K22 about 45 miles. And there's no charge to get in.

Siouxland Coronavirus Cancellations--UPDATED JULY 2020

In spring 2020 we saw over 20,000 cases of COVID-19 in Iowa, more than 15,000 in Nebraska, and more than 5000 cases in South Dakota, many of those right here in Siouxland.  For medical information on COVID-19, please visit the CDC's coronavirus page or Mayo Clinic coronavirus page   Wow, a lot has changed since I first posted this! When I first started this post, the nearest outbreak of COVID-19 was one family in Omaha! Now, we have seen nearly everything in our tri-state area closed to try to flatten the curve, and the number of cases skyrocketed higher than many people thought possible, yet mercifully lower than many of the projection models.  I did a major update on this post in June 2020 and a small update in July 2020, and it will now reflect what is re-opening in our area! I will try to keep it up to date, so check back for updates, but I do not run any of these organizations, and I encourage you to seek out their individual websites and social media to confirm c

So bookmark this page and check back anytime you want to know where to celebrate this season, whether you're looking for spooky or sweet!
