Disney on Ice coming to Sioux City's Tyson Events Center this September!

An enchanting extravaganza on ice is headed to the Tyson Events Center this September with favorite characters, a great soundtrack, and impressive athleticism! Here's what parents should know about Disney on Ice: 

What is Disney on Ice: Into the Magic?

Since the early 80s, Disney has been producing spectacular ice shows featuring beloved songs and character, and Disney on Ice: Into the Magic is one of their latest and freshest shows. This video gives a peek at what to expect at the show but note not all of the performers, characters, or songs in this video are guaranteed to be at the Sioux City performance:

Doesn't it look magical? I think whether you are a Disney fan who loves all the classic characters, or an ice-skating fan who loves to see theatrical and athletic skating by talented performers, or both, this is going to be such an amazing ice show and we are lucky to have it coming to Sioux City! It is worth noting that while all ages are welcome at this show, it is recommended for ages 6+. Everyone ages 2 and older requires their own ticket; younger babies and toddlers may attend without a ticket but will not have their own seat. I recommend bringing a baby carrier to keep wiggly babies comfy and contained!

When and where is the Disney on Ice in Sioux City?

Disney on Ice will be performed on the third weekend of September 2023 at the Tyson Events Center. The Tyson is located at 401 Gordon Drive in downtown Sioux City. There is a huge lot with free parking at the Tyson.

There are six scheduled performance times of Disney on Ice: Into the Magic at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City:

• Friday, September 22nd at 7pm
• Saturday, September 23rd at 11am
• Saturday, September 23rd at 3pm
• Saturday, September 23r at 7pm
• Sunday, September 24th at 11am
• Sunday, September 24th at 3pm

Getting ready for Disney on Ice: Into the Magic 

Buying tickets is really the only thing you have to do to be ready for this spectacular performance. But for extra fun:

• Dress up as your favorite Disney character when you go to the show **if under 14** (much like Disney theme parks, at Disney on Ice shows, to avoid confusing young kids who attend, teens and adults are not allowed to wear full costume. Disneybounding type character tribute outfits are welcome instead!)
• Watch your favorite Disney movies like Moana, Frozen, Tangled, and Coco to get ready
• Color your favorite Disney princess with an official licensed coloring sheet from Disney or Crayola.
