Since 1964 Sioux City has been celebrating our city and our river with the River-Cade Festival, and this year it will include a parade, carnival, contests, concerts, and assorted other fun for all ages!
This year's festivities kicked off this weekend with a fun event at the mall and a golf tournament at Green Valley golf course, but really pick up with a parade Wednesday night at 7pm along a new route on Pierce and Douglas between 5th and 10th streets:
The parade will be followed by after-parade bash behind Heelan High School including an ice cream social, Smile Contest Finals, musical entertainment, and fireworks!
The carnival will run from Wednesday the 15th through Sunday the 19th at the South Sioux City Soccer fields and include classic carnival rides, games, and food!
