- 10:30am to noon: Saturday Art Lessons: Paper Collage Peace Poems at the Sioux City Art Center for ages 8+, or younger artists accompanied by an adult helper, $7 per artist
- 1pm: STEM Snowflakes learning event at the Lewis & Clark Intepretive Center. Kids in K-6th grade are invited to learn more about "winter on the trail" and participate in some fun hands-on activities (*Note: event registration FULL)
- 6pm: Sioux City Musketeers vs Fargo Force home hockey game at the Tyson Events Center

- 2pm: Winter on the Prairie historical lecture with Russ Gifford at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, FREE with reception to follow
