Every month I bring you the best things to do in Sioux City and Siouxland, from storytimes and crafts to live music and sports, and holidays from silly to serious. Things to do in Sioux City and Siouxland the First Week of April

  • Weds 4/1

    • 11am: Storytime for kids 3-7 at the South Sioux City Public Library
    • 12:30 to 3:30pm: Imagination Station at the Sioux City Art Center, $7 per child (discounts for members and for multiple children available), a parent or another adult caregiver MUST stay and supervise
  • Sat 4/4
    • 10am to 1pm: Let's Fly a Kite at the Sergeant Floyd Riverboat Museum, FREE
    • 10am: Easter Egg Hunt at Embassy Rehab and Care Center in Sgt. Bluff, IA
    • 10am: Easter Egg Hunt at Merrill Kissinger Park in Merrill, IA, for kids 0 to 10 years old
    • 10am: Easter Egg Hunt at Accura Healthcare in Onawa, IA. Hosted by the Onawa Chamber of Commerce
    • 10:30am: Saturday Art Lessons: Alcohol Ink Resist Art at the Sioux City Art Center, $7 per project
    • 11am: Saturday Class: Life in a Keelboat at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center, for kids in grades K-8, FREE
    • 11am: First Saturday Family Storytime: Bouncing Bunny Jamboree at the Sioux City Public Library downtown
    • 11am to 1pm: Easter Egg Hunt and Festival at Windmill Park in Orange City, IA

Whether you're looking for simply pumpkins in a farm field; an all-day adventure with corn mazes, hayrides, apple cider donuts, and cute photo opps; or something in between, Siouxland probably has your type of pumpkin patch!
