Every month I bring you the best things to do in Sioux City and Siouxland, from storytimes and crafts to music festivals, streaming concerts, and holidays from silly to serious. And as I write these event posts, I'm always looking for new ways to make this information easier for you to read and understand so you can get right to the fun part of spending time making memories with your family!
So, I'm trying out a new calendar feature, and I'd love to hear your feedback on it. After the calendar, you'll find the usual list of as many events as I can find info on, including the date, time, location, and helpful links to get more info. This month, some of the highlights include the Woodbury County Fair, lots of other Siouxland county fairs, back-to-school, and tons of summer fun! You might also be interested in my post about Siouxland Splash Pads and about Homeschooling in Siouxland.

I do not run any of these events and encourage you to call or visit the websites and/or social media accounts of the hosting locations, organizations, or stores with any questions and to confirm details. Many paid events and some free events require tickets or registration & some may sell out or fill up quickly or very far in advance. Age and other recommendations are general guidelines provided by the event or activity organizer and should not be considered legal or medical advice and may not apply well to all children.
It may be a good idea to have the calendar on your main page, it was almost impossible to find it without getting onto FB first, and while at work, I would like to avoid logging into my personal FB.
ReplyDeleteOh, how strange. It's a google calendar, so Facebook should not be involved in any way. If you feel comfortable sending me an email or message on social media with a screenshot, I'd love to see what is showing up for you so I can help problem solve. Thanks so much for the feedback!
